This is an introductory event for beginner level shooters to learn how to handle and shoot 12-gauge shotguns at clay targets on our Trap fields – a great starting point for anyone shooting shotguns for the first time or interested in learning the basics of Trap shooting.

You DO NOT need a PAL or an RPAL to attend this event. Beginner shooters learn gun handling etiquette, proper stance, correct gun mount and eye position to build a solid foundation for successful target shooting or hunting. Our experienced mentors will provide careful supervision to ensure safety and answer any questions you may have to provide a positive learning environment.

Beginners can use our Club owned break-action shotguns available for a $10 rental fee.
Shotgun ammunition available for $16 per box of 25 rounds.
Clay target fees are $10 per round of 25 targets.

If you already have your PAL and have a shotgun that you’d like to use – bring it along and we’ll help you get started hitting targets.

Join us on the 2nd Sunday of each month for our ‘Shotgun for Beginners‘ program from 10:00am until 1:00pm.

Registration opens at 9:30am and closes at 11:00am.
