Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a PAL to become a member?

You do not need a PAL to become a member, but if you choose to get more involved with hunting or sporting firearms we offer PAL and C.O.R.E. courses to get you started.

What do I need to bring/wear to the range?

Eye and ear protection is mandatory at the range for all participants – suitable clothing for outdoor activities and closed-toe footwear is recommended.

What about kids?

Youth under 18 will require adult supervision by a parent or guardian to monitor safe firearms handling.

Do I need to bring money?

Fees can be paid with credit/debit cards ONLY when the Club Office is open – it is best to bring cash to pay for entry fees and guest fees.

What are the guest fees?

Anytime a member attends Ridgedale, they can bring up to 2 guests. Those 2 guests can attend the range twice in the calendar year. This visit is for the guest to view the range and decide if they would like to become a member.

Guest fees for adults is $20 and for juniors is $5 (juniors are persons 18 years of age or younger).
