SUMMARY:RIMFIRE Competition - Rifle Range
DESCRIPTION:Competition Rimfire Rifle \nFirst Sunday of each month from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Rifle Range. \nSight-in starts at 11:00 AM and the competition events start at 12:00 noon. \nThere are 4 Competition Classifications: Unlimited / Hunting Rifle / Semi-auto / 17 HMR\n\nEntry fee is $10 per event\, and targets are supplied with entry. \nThe Club can supply both rifles and ammunition (for a fee) or participants may bring their own equipment. \nYou DO NOT need to be a Ridgedale Club member to participate\, and youth shooters are welcome to attend with a responsible adult to supervise them. \n‘Competition Firearm Experience’ for New Shooters\nNew shooters have the opportunity to experience using a precision\, competition-level rifle after the competitive events are finished. To qualify\, new shooters should have previously participated in the Rimfire for Beginners\, or the Rifle for Beginners programs to be familiar with proper firearms handling etiquette. \nNew shooters will be supervised and coached by the owners of the competition-level firearm and will be supplied competition-grade ammunition to use. \n‘Competition Firearm Experience’ entry fee is $20 and competition-grade ammo is $5 for 10 rounds. \nFor more information contact us at rifle@ridgedale.net
