The B.C. Wildlife Federation presents: Salmon Canning 101 a Women Outdoors Workshop!
Participants can expect to learn everything needed to process and preserve salmon: how to cut the salmon, how to dry brine for smoking, and how to use a pressure cooker to preserve both raw and smoked salmon. There will even be tips on the best ways to serve the canned salmon and maybe even some samples.
The cost for this 3 hour workshop is $99 for BCWF members and $129 for non- members and it will be held at the Ridgedale Rod and Gun Club.
