Join the competition-calibre rimfire rifle shooters on Ridgedale’s rifle range to measure your skills against other precision rimfire rifle enthusiasts.

You DO NOT need to be a Ridgedale Club member to participate, and youth shooters are welcome to attend with a responsible adult to supervise them.

Participants should have their own equipment sighted-in at 100 yards with previously tested ammunition, but we can also accommodate entry level shooters at 50 yards.

There are 4 Competition Classifications: Unlimited / Hunting Rifle / Semi-auto / 17 HMR

Competition Rimfire Rifle events are held on 1st Sunday of every month.

Sight-in starts at 11:00am and the competition events start at 12:00 noon.

Entry fee is $10 per event, and targets are supplied with entry.

‘Competition Firearm Experience’ for New Shooters
New shooters have the opportunity to experience using a precision, competition-level rifle after the competitive events are finished. To qualify, new shooters should have previously participated in the ‘Intro to Firearms‘ or the ‘Rifle for Beginners‘ programs to be familiar with proper firearms handling etiquette.

New shooters will be supervised and coached by the owners of the competition-level firearm and will be supplied competition-grade ammunition to use.

‘Competition Firearm Experience’ entry fee is $20 and competition-grade ammo is $5 for 10 rounds.
